Biography
I was born May 22, 1968, the son of a Brooklyn lawyer who was the son of a Brooklyn lawyer. The dinner table in our house as we grew up was not only filled with the challenging every day life experiences that my fathers clients' were going through but also by difficult and thought provoking questions that helped mold me into the quick thinking and overly prepared attorney I am today.
Once I became a trial attorney, I realized quite quickly that there is no easy way to do this. Either you are in the case 100% or you can't represent your clients properly. Having decided to be in the whole way, you essentially become the case, you live it, you eat it, you sleep it, and it is always on your mind. This is the only way I know how to practice. It takes great passion and dedication but yields great results and satisfaction.
Thus having first grown up in the law, and then living it passionately everyday, it was only natural that I eventually marry into it. On September 10, 2005 I married, Maritza Fanith who I met while she was serving jury duty in Brooklyn. We now have two little jurors of our own who are as challenging and rewarding as any case I could imagine.
